AC Shadows Reveals Bizarre Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a surprising crossover event that challenges traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Revealed
According to the formal statement, "A strange confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of banned ceremonies and monstrous changes reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine sect.
The questline centers on "peculiar tests and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Changes
The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Additional Material
Players who accomplish the mission will receive an exclusive katana in addition to numerous objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Addition
