It's tough for Australia to break new ground.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

We're talking about the unit that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to six more T20 titles, and once went over three years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a side that has achieved everything.

The fact it required as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowlers that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

She was tormented by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in the previous month's ODI series, fallen to the emerging pace bowler in all three matches, but this time it merely gave Healy's spark.

A single was taken off Gaud's first delivery and from there the batsman was in motion.

"The possibility to go out there and engage in competition with her and simply enjoy myself that way, sort of got me going," said Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 pitches - her fastest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 as she attacked short-pitched balls, scoring 21 fours and three big hits.

When she was removed the team needed 66 more at run per delivery - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"To chase 330 is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the belief to do that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to repeat it but, should it happen, we know we can succeed."

Those words will be the last rival teams at this championship need to hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this success succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a meeting with traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.
